Ninjala, Switch Exclusive Battle Royale, Delayed Due to Coronavirus Impact

Ninjala, the upcoming Battle Royale action game from GungHo Online Entertainment, has unfortunately been delayed due to the Coronavirus impact. The developers announced the pushback via the Japanese Twitter account for the game.

【ニンジャラ 発売日についてのお知らせ】

Ninjala was originally supposed to launch on May 28 but now, it’ll be releasing onto the Switch eShop on June 25. GungHo states that the delay was due to the spread of the Coronavirus but no other details were shared in the tweet.

Late last month, Ninjala had an open beta test that was available for anybody with a Nintendo Switch but unfortunately, there were a number of players that experienced a variety of technical issues such as error codes, y random disconnections.

Although people will have to wait a little bit longer now for Ninjala to release, that’ll give you all extra time to possibly check out one of the biggest Switch games this month, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition — which looks very good.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected countless video game events in 2020 y video game development itself. Just to name a few: E3 2020, Paris Games Week, Comic-Con 2020, y Gamescom have all been canceled or changed to a digital-only event.
